Pisa - Boring, oh look tower leans, oh look big church next to it. Sod all esle

Florence ( Firenze ) - Very nice, Piazza Del Vecchio has nice statues, Duomo and Campanile very nice, loads of gallerries etc. Go up to the Belvedere and take loads of pics and what not. Great place to but cheap clothes and leather stuff is the market two streets behind the Piazza del Vecchio going towards the train station.
Cracking bars and eateries. Try to get of the beaten track a touch and watch for where the natives go.
The Gelatteria at the far end of the Ponte Vecchio has a brothel behind it.

Have fun !!

Italy is gorgeous IMHO. My family are from the North West, Ligurian Riviera and it's fantastic. If you get a chance Noli is a lovely place (from what I can remember). Pinoccio land is there! It was a good few years ago that I went but it was real fun. Pisa is lovely but it's a shame that you can't go up the tower anymore )

rent a convertable punto for sod all and drive it around - bloody lovely - florence, go to the gardens once owned by the medici and get lagered up if its sunny - beautiful place for beer (take it with you) - if you can do one big meal in your entire holiday go to Cibreo - fairly pricey but one of the best meals I've had in Italy
