Sorry if this is the wrong forum but i have an important question about my TVR clutch! (is that the other marques clutches forum?)

Anyway- the pedal adjusts for long legs by allowing you to screw it further into the clutch pedal arm- this has the effect of the threaded bolt on the pedal sticking out the back of the pedal arm the more you wind the pedal into it.

i have set the pedal how i like it but the sticking out bolt now means that when the pedal is depressed the bolt touches the bulkhead and restricts travel- now i'll be cutting the bolt short soon but in the mean time will i **** the clutch by not using all the travel? the clutch does go i far enough to disengage but only just- ie. when i lift of the pedal only needs to move an inch before the clutch engages.

help please, my TVR doesnt need any excuses to go wrong!
