Question

When you import a dvd from the isle of man or from the states. You generally dont get stung by the customs man. For import duty and VAT as long as it less than £15.

Is this a level that the HMCE have to reduce workload or is it a level that is stated in law?

I believe that £18 is the max before duty is levied.
Soon be to be zero with changes mooted by EU.

Except for politicians of course.

I thought that if it came from the EU you didn't have to
pay anything ?? i.e. its one big community/tax paid in country
of origin.....?
