Is the blo0dy thing knackered or can it be fixed? It does it at random and the battery has plenty of life in it.

Orange can't/won't help as the phone is 2 months out of warrenty.

Typical 6210 problem - my used to have spates of doing it and then be fine for weeks.

Might be worth trying a new battery?

Ive found a lot of nokias do this, usually if you use the vibrate feature, as it wears the battery contacts more than normal

I have only had this problem once, but then I have never used the vibrate function

most people just give the contacts a good clean, and this can usually sort the problem out

a classic 6210 problem I am afraid.... it seems to be fixed in the 6310 (along with a load of other niggles)

I never worked out what caused it, but the battery was a lot looser in my 6210, it could have been a quick break in contact randomly whilst being jiggled about in a pocket or whatever

Fix is a small plastic strip glued onto the back of the phone to force the battery contacts together. Very professional not.
