So are we to conclude that now your posting rate is starting to go up again - you have access to someones elses free internet access again (and you're past the initial "I must not abuse the facilities" stage )

Not free. I'm using my own net access - a weedy little 56k modem and BT Anytime paid for out of my own pocket.

I'm working from home these days, so can do as much/little work or dossing as I like.

Sorry, you'll have to explain better how that differs

Cool

Difference now is that when I'm working I'm getting shedloads less than I was in London. And even worse, when I'm not working, I'm not getting paid at all.

Ahhh - so the difference is now timesheets based on actual work rather than mere atendance at your nominal place of work

Cool

You got it. (or should that be ?).

On the upside though, I 'work' all day looking out on a beautiful view of the Scottish borders, have the telly on with daytime TV (just like being a student again...) and can nip out on the mountain bike whenever I like.

So it's not all bad.

I love daytime telly. Watch This Morning and Richard & Judy most days. Countdown's on at the moment.

And the mountain bike doesn't just sit outside - see my posts in the 'mountain bike grips' thread.

But you're right about the sitting on my **** bit.

Wink

and you slowly start to look like the guests on Trisha..be warned

Also, if you can sit through Kilroy without raising your stress levels then you probably are a guest on Trisha
