Looking for a decent car to rent for a weekend from Bologna - does anybody know if there is a company that have better cars than avis?

i had a focus through the tuscan lanes last year. wish i had been on my bike...
car hire is dear in Italy. we used skycars.com they seem to have a broad range of cars and use all big hire firms
