getting a loan for 4.5 or 5k....over 2 abd a half or 3 years...........who does the best rate????????????????

Try alliance & leicester or Lombard direct - you may get about 7.9% APR

Isn't Northern Rock the cheapest? I think on CharcolOnline (sp?) they quote figs. around 6% . Or I can arrange one for you at 7.9% if you'd prefer.
