As the title says
You know, when you're about 10 years old & you develop a thing about cars. What was the first car you would dream about having?
Mine was
Lamborghini Countach
Ferrari Testarossa
I always thought about how amazing it would be to own one. I even had framed pictures of them up on my wall

About 10 years after I fell in love with my girlfriends dads one _ I had a nice Mettalic Bronze Mk2 on my driveway, complete with Tan Vinyl Roof!!!
Why did Vinyl Roofs disappear?? They would have appealed to our Gold Wheel lovers out there!!

It's a shame I was too young to appreciate it, but I still thought it was rather

Was brought up on a diet of Porsche 924s and top of the range Mercs for family outings! How poor do I feel now with an ugly duckling 01!
Definately name KITT and the Countach as kiddie favourites but who can forget even back then the subliminal government messages about public transport like Thomas the Tank Engine!

The Capri off of The Professionals
Magnums Ferrari, can't remember if it was a 328 or 308 I liked both models but could never remember which was which at that age.
The black Porsche 911 out of Bad Boys although I wasn't really a kid when I first saw that, just a low mental age Still think its one of the best looking cars I have ever seen.
The Countach out of Cannonball Run 2
I could be here all night listing them...

Do you know that the TR-7 was originally designed to be mid-engined?
When Michelotti (who also designed the Spitfire and the TR4/5, but not the TR6 which was Karmann) unveiled it, Guigaro said "My God, does it look the same on the other side?"

Carl - yep, Sprint was the first 16v car - my Dad had two of them while I was growing up - what great cars!
My fav' car as a kid was the Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer - I loved that car. That changed to the Ferrari 288 GTO (the sexiest/best looking car of all time IMHO) when that came out.
