Question

There are a few people out there who know that I do actually own a rather nice Fender Strat replica (well I was told that is what it was) electric guitar. I've had ti for, ooooooh, years, at least 6 years I would have thought.

Thing is, I've never got round to learning to play.

Are there any good websites, or books, etc... to help?

Finding someone to teach me would be good, but as I'm off to Canada, might be a bit hard

The reason for wanting to do it now is because of the move to canada, am thinking of taking the ol geetar with me and learning to play it, should while away a few hours.

Any advice appreciated.

Loads of books and websites but you'll need an electric tuner if you don't get someone to teach you how to play. Th best way IMO is to have lessons for at least a year before trying to teach yourself.
