Is there a program that can automatically make thumbnails for a set of pictures instead of manually having to open up the picture (i use photoshop) resize it and then save it as another file?
Any help would really be appreciated.

Photoshop can do this. In v5 (I think) there are automated tasks from the file menu (on a mac ;-) )

You can point it at a folder of images and create a web gallery. Quite useful but you can customise and record actions to replay on a folder. Hope that helps.
