IPAQ 3630 Pros & Cons Please
#2
PRO: windows compatibility/intergration
CON: memory to small.. go for the 3660
lack of native expansion .. wait for the new model with the SD slot
or wait for the tosh (?) with a smartcard and a sd slot

in comparison to what?
bigger than a palm, overspecced if you just want a glorified filofax but can do so much more if you want/need to.
new models are out soon, so expect to see the current ones appearing on ebay - however the current iPaq can be upgraded to pocketpc 2002.

I've got one - love it. MUCH better than a Palm IMHO. The colour screen is excellent, internet access means I can check out Scoobynet wherever. Only drawback is that it needs some other connection method to get on-line - I generally use my Nokia 6210. There are colour, integrated phone, Pocket PC's coming out next year which will be the dogs.

I have.
Main gripe is battery life. Absolutely rubbish. My old PalmV would last a month. This thing lasts a minute in comparison.
Not bad if you're a casual user but, when you download a map for a job interview and the battery dies on you it can be a bit frustrating ...
Get yourself a Sony Clie Peg770 or buy my Ipaq off me.

10hrs I wish! With 802.11B wireless lan card set to lowest Tx power and screen brightness set to auto I get around 2hrs.
I'm writing this with it now. I've upgraded to pocketpc 2002 (rom version 2.10) and it looks very nice plus I can use graffiti !

I love my iPAQ, no battery probs as it's in & out the cradle. Check this new one from BT, due out Q1 2002. Like an iPAQ with a GPRS phone integrated - Had a go last week and its the dogs.

Battery life said to be much better than the iPAQ even with an integrated phone!!!!
