Question

Hi Guys,

Can someone help on the following :

At mo I use compuserve for business use in my work , straightforward single point standard modem dialup.

Is there any ISP's out there that will give me a flat rate like Compuserve invoiced to my work but with an 0800 number not 0845

Jase

0800 would be a freephone number, with the person you are connecting to paying the call charges, so it would be unlikely that an ISP will have an 0800 number

BT Internet used to provide an 0800 number for the none FRIACO [1] based dial-up services.

I paid £7.99 a month of use of it during evenings / weekends.

Most unmetered services now use an 0808 number via the FRIACO service. AOL, BT, Freeserve etc offer services based on this, although most bill to credit cards.

You might find somebody will invoice you for 12 months service up front through.
