Katana, you gotta be crazy. I pay $300 per month (200 pounds) for family healthcare coverage. With a $500 (330 pounds) single and $1,500 (1,000 pounds) family deductible. Insurance pays 90% upto a maximum of $3,000 then 100% after that. I also pay $20 - $45 for prescriptions. I have to go to a doctor or specialist than is in the network or they only pay 70%. If I lost my job it would cost me $750 (500 pounds)per month to maintain my health coverage and that is only for 18 months. Otherwise no coverage. I would then have to pay out of my pocket for anything big $$$$. Insurance premiums are currently rising 10 - 20% per year. People in the UK don't know how good they have it.
I do agree about immigration both the UK and US is allowing too many people who are completely unskilled and bring lots of crime with them as they often either can't find work or only very low paid work. It is estimated that the US currently has 10m illegal immigrants.

Unclebuck will like this one.

He is a big fan of the bus pictures with the cheering hoardes.

Look on the bright side. 110,000 this year and perhaps we will break the 200k marker next year.

Not forgetting the ones who enter illegally.

Cant wait to integrate with all my new friends!

'tis on t' text at the moment.

It seems that the vast majority of the 1000+ ex-Sangatte asylum seekers that we (or rather, Blunkett) so kindly invited into our country and gave work permits still haven't, er, got a job yet

It appears that the language barrier is a problem - humm, that's a surprise

Cool

Did you see them all on the news the other night queueing up outside an office in a line that went round the corner. I bet none of them were Germans because they do not know how to queue

What we need to do is get rid of unemployment benefits for everybody. That way if the asylum seekers or profesional work dodgers don't work, they die. Simple as that. The economy would end up better in the end.

NHS is also a joke now. We should privatise it like they do in America. That way, we are certain to get good service instead of getting desert spoons used on us for surgery..

TBH I've given up on it now Just let 'em all in The government doesn't seem to have the will to do anything about it. It's all over for the UK it seems.

Nope. This way the money saved from paying out benefits can be used for more important things like increased security and bigger and better roads. People who are working have nothing to be scared off. Its the work dodgers that would suffer most and thats their own fault..

If we let them stay we must do a few things.

1. Give them what they need to survive. If they want to do legal work fine.

2. Clamp down big time on the cash in hand work they are doing.

3. Clamp down very hard on the crime element within them.

4. If they are not under control and not given what they need to survive. then they can only turn to crime.

But the goverment wont do anything. The british people will end up getting mad.... There will be violence and unreast.

The people of this country are sick and tired of been treated as second class citizens in their own country.

Katana, I agree on the unemployment benefits. I was disagreeing on the NHS comment.
Here in the US you only get unemployment for 26 weeks after that you are on your own. Benefits are usually around 60% of your income excluding overtime upto about $2,500 per month.
Sure motivates people to find work. That is why the US has much less long term unemployed.

I know its a hardline approach but we do need to make sacrifices especially now since we're entering another Dark Ages where it seems that even science (especially cloning)seems to be halted by various "moral" government. Some of you might have even noticed the 3p increase in petrol prices. Basically, the government is running out of cash. The unemployment benefits and NHS must be the first thing to go if we are to survive. You can only raise the prices of cigarettes and petrol only so far.

Hell some of you might even notice that the quality of the retarmaced roads are sh*te in terms of quality and durability. They're even cutting costs on rolling the damn roads and leaving it gravelly. I doesn't even take a first year engineering student to do a better job than that. You can tell that we're out of cash now can't you?
