Sorry for this advice..but..if you want decent x-browser stuff, avoid layers. Convert your page to tables.

Question

Hi folks

I need some assistance with Dreamweaver ... when I use several layers with images and text on a page they all get overlaid with some browsers, IE5 is fine and when I do the "check in other versions of browsers" it's fine however it seems there must be a problem as the layers get jumbled-up ?? Someone mentioned having to "flatten" the page

any takers ??

As lee says convert layers to tables or put all the text in one layer(bit of a pain). If you want to check your text in Internet explorer you can change the size of your text by going to View, text size.
