Can you put a T-mobile sim into a Vodafone phone?

Can you get the phone changed to take t-mobile, its a Samsung T-100.

I thought BT (O2) were the only company that don't lock their handsets, due to OFTEL and their usual interferance.
Ricey, most phones can be unlocked for £5-10 at your local independant mobile store (or Kinross market if you're passing it)

I had 3 fones from Voda before, & none of them were locked.
My current fone (Ericsson T39m) was bought from Voda with a Voda contract, & I used a Cellnet sim from day one. Now the fone is using an Orange Hong Kong sim, as I've moved back there. In between, the fone has seen services with sims from Virgin, Voda Oz, AIS Thailand, & China Unicom. Absolutely no problems at all.
