Why is it that every time you've washed the scoob and its looking great, a bird dumps its dirt all over it - do they have built-in radars for washed cars ??? Happended to my passion wagon yesterday

The perfect response: I'm outside about an hour ago, circular sawing some MDF for a cabinet. In the garden are two collared doves, a blacky, a robin, a pied wagtail, several sparrows and a great tit(!!).
Suddenly all hell breaks loose, and thinking "cat", I go and look, just in time to see a Sparrowhawk take down one of the doves!
No other birds have been back since.
AND I live in the middle of a town!
