Went into town today for my lunch break
PS2's and GT3's where everywhere.
Had credit card...
Found a good offer...

Then...
The little conscience angel appeared on my shoulder(like in Tom and Jerry)...

o Just spent 2 grand on brakes and wheels
o I've never really liked racing games.
o I've got a shed load of bills to pay
o I've got house extension solicitors fees to pay..
o It's not been cleared by the household finance dept...
o It'll be cheaper at xmas, with more games
o Just spent 1500 quid on a PC to play games on..
o I'd like a 36 inch Widescreen TV...

So Credit card stayed in my wallet, and the PS2, GT3 remains unpurchased..

And I did not get toasted when I returned home..

All in all a good result..

I know exactly how you feel!!

Similar feeling of being flush and a PS2 was a beckoning!!

However, just spent £500 quid on a Direct Access Motorbike Course, bought a helmet, jacket and gloves, another £500. The wife wants a new Stereo system next week, I am off to Prague on a bender in 2 weeks and I want a new motorbike in 4 weeks....

Money, unfortunately still doesn't grow on trees......... Doh!
