I worked in the USA briefly in 1995 for an outfit called Force5.

There phone number was +1 214 248 8555 - Anyone know where 214 is?

That number is not unobtainable.

Anyone know how I can find out where they might now be based? i.e. is there a USA version of our Companies House website

or

Could the phone number have been changed due to a USA PhoneDay-type change

or

Is there a USA equivalent of Directory Enquiries (preferably a web version)?

I should have stated that Force5 was the agency and not the end client. I can't see it being them. From what I remember of them, they were very small.

I think they must have closed down or relocated, as you say.
