mods - can you please leave this here for a while before moving it?

somebody decided to nick the passenger wingmirror glass out of my dads E-240 merc (2000). dealer wants 150 quid for a new one? it's just a piece of glass (even though it's heated i thought maybe 70 quid tops?).

anyone any idea on where to get one cheaper? i.e. merc breakers yard or something?

Try GSF or Eurocarparts, you'll find them on the web, they do TUV approved pattern replacements.

Its the price you pay for having a merc. Seems well steep 150 quid though.

Know how you feel. My mum lost the take-out bit off her radio in her Focus. Its a 3inch long piece of plastic and they want £60 for it!
