Can anyone help...

I would like to upgrade my Orange 3210 to either a Nokia 3310, 3330, 8210 or the new 8850. Does anyone know where I can do a free upgrade on these or a good price on the last one. I would like to stay with Orange but would change if need be and would also like to keep my existing number. I am happy to stay on contract for another 12 months as well.

Any idea's?

stay with Orange.Ive been with them 7 years and i threatened to leave unless they matched a quote i got for a 6210.Apparently,they have a scale of discount they can throw at you iy you try to terminate.I got the 6210 for £40 when the cheapest in the shops was £130.Give it a go.

 

 

I agree with dba.

Ask them for the upgrade price and then if its now low enough (ie what you could get it for mail order) say you'll leave then.

They will probably give you a number to call (can't remember it) or get someone to call you who will offer a much better deal!

Probably get some money for your existing phone too: I got 50 quid for my 6150e.

I'm currently in exactly the same situation as you. I've got a 3210 and want to upgrade to an 8210 or better. I cancelled my contract and explained why in a letter to them and they offered me the phone at 50 quid. I'm still cancelling as I can get the phone with accessories for free, just for the sake of a new number! I've got to get a new one on or by the 27th July, so if you find any better deals, let me know and I'll do the same!
