TAKE NOTE LADIES AND GENTS

Thames Valley Police are mounting a 6 month speeding campaign from the
1st July, on the M40, M4 and A34. They have been equipped with the
following unmarked vehicles

BMW 535I, 1 Silver & 1 Dark Green
Seat Cordoba 2.0 VTI in Silver
Vectra 2.5 SRI- 1 Black & 1 Red
Omega 3.0 SRI- 1 Burgundy
Volvo S40 T4- 1 Red
Volvo S70 - 1 White
VW Bora 2.3 VTI - Red
VW Passat VR6 - Silver

They will also be using a helicopter between Junctions 4 and 8/9 of the
M4 from next Monday for a 2 week period, plus additional mobile speed
cameras on Bridges around the Maidenhead and Slough junctions.

Mate sent me this a few days ago, I have to question its authenticity.....

Seat never made a Cordoba VTI (VTI is Honda)????
There is no such thing as an Omega 3.0SRi, its an Elite or MV6...never even been an Omega SRi.....
No such thing as a Bora VTI either, its a V5.....or V6 4 Motion......
I don't think there was a VR6 Passat but not too sure......think it was badged a VR5 or V6......

what do you think

gota agree some of the "badge desriptions are a bit out, may be a puplicity stunt..........

But can you afford not to believe it???

I dunno used to work for Kidlington CO Thames valley police HQ (as a civy looking after the Phones etc before i get flamed )

seemed to do this alot then,

Always good to let people know about the possibility of what the coppers could be up to, just thought it sounded like the speed camera hoaxes coz most of the badge descriptions were wrong

Now GMP or West Yorks plod, that's a different matter!

I recommend you just assume they always have a campaign on!

 

You got to love it. A helicopter at about £650 per hour, for two weeks. Please tell me this isn't just about speeding...
