Just been to look at a 2 week old litter of staffies and paid a deposit on one! This will be my third and I can't wait until I go and get him He's black with a tiny bit of white on his chest and cost £400

Just thought I'd share this with you all.

Nice one. My missus has one called Tek that is Dark Brindle. Can be a handful as full of energy and they chew anything in site when young. Looks hard as nails but is a big softy. Doesnt bite or bark - only thing he's likely to do is lick you to death.

Simon.

I'm sooooo jealous!! I really wanted a staff. Got a rescue pooch called Trev instead (Rottweiller / Lab cross). Absolutely mental but a cutie all the same!

Think we will get either a Staff or English Bull Terrier pup soon!

Babber he is sooooooooo cute, I've got two Staffies but both of them were rescue dogs so I've never actually had one from a small pup, still there's always the next one...

Thanks for all the nice comments, I did discuss this with a few of you on here months ago and finially took the plunge. It was so funny trying to track a good litter down. I first started with someone at the staffy society and they gave me a number. After about ten phone calls, I got someone who had both a dog and a black one. Obviously these dogs haven't been advertised, and were sold through word of mouth. Two of them are off to the USA and another to Spain. I done the same when I bought Urnie (first staffy) 13 years ago, and he won his first Show at the grand old age of ten

I'll post a few more picture when I get them.....

Awwwh...so cute.

Reminds me of when we went to chose our dog from the puppies. So hard to chose but one seemed to pick us, so we had him.

Luckily enough I haven't got the pain of deciding which one. One of my daughters wants one and the other daughter wants another. Just as well I only took the two girls and not all four The breeders is deciding for me, as he will know which one will be the best

Thanks for all the nice comments again, and look forward to next weeks pictures. I'm sure they'll look different again. I was thinking of calling him Scooby, but that really is a daft name for a Staffy ?? What do you guys think ?

I'm almost 95 % sure it going to be Thorn as shandy isn't the right name for a hard as nails staffy

Well I have picked him up now and have spent the last few days clearing up **** and ****. Bless him he's lovely. Kept me awake for the past two nights, so I'm shattered. I have called him "Thorn" and his Kennel club name is Stormbull Blackthorn

Take a look :-

And another :-

I'll take a few more if anyone is interested ?

Oh and if anyone is interested they got let down with a bitch (she's available now and was going to spain) and a dog (he'll be available in 3 weeks and was going to USA) Email me for detail.....babber@blueyonder.co.uk.

Yes two more available. I can't understand why people commit to having one then at the eleventh hours, decide to pull out!!! It's savage.

One thing I woulds say is this breader is so caring and have phoned me a few times now, and gave me toys, blankets, etc. Unlike the breeders we got Urnie off my first staffy (13 years ago) He was only interested in the money

He's sleeping now, so will wait till he walking around and take a few more.

Cheers Phill C

PS He liked having a **** on me RB5 seats yesterday on the way to the vets

Carpet Cleaner are you trying to drum up business, lol ?? He's staying in the kitchen on the easy to clean lino

I agree Staffies are proper dogs and he has been so good with my four daughters, just like his mother was with them!!

Took a few more

My landlords two cats are frightened to death of him, which I'm surprised by. They won't stay in the same room as him. I want one of the cats to let him have some, as he keeps chasing them. Question of time I guess.

Lol, got him booked in the vets two weeks time for a chip I thinking of the 225 BHP version

Cheers Phill C

PS I'll keep the pictures coming

yeah I do like dogs like Labradors, retrievers gun dogs ya know 'proper dogs' I really hate dogs that are always trying to jump up on you all the time and make yapping noises

I like the dignified stance of the 'proper' dogs
