Or does it depend where you are? For example in Amsterdam, Heineken is awesome, but I would probably not drink it over here.
A few of my faves.
Tiger
Cobra
Stella
Grolsch
Nastro Azurro
Becks - Currently being consumed
Leffe -
Hogaarden
Asahi
Or maybe they all have there time and place, and you could not just keep drinking the same one.

Any imported beer really. UK-brewed versions are poor substitutes IMHO.
Bitburg is probably my favourite.
I think German beers are probably the best due the their beer purity laws.

Delirium Tremens brewed by Huyghe is fantastic, has pink elephants on the bottle. www.euro-beer.co.uk/p895.html
I do enjoy most Belgian beers though, so many good ones to choose from. Gent is an excellent place to stop off at for a few nights when you're going to the 'ring. Some of the bars have menus with hundreds of beers to choose from.

Singha beer! doesn't taste as good in this country though
Carlsberg export is my fav widely available
used to have a soft spot for Super Tennants, it's actually nice when you get into it, i couldn't go back to normal lager afterwards but had to give it up because a huge beer gut appeared in weeks

Davyboy, your list is commendable but I think you should have stuck Kronenbourg on the end. A foolish omission IMHO - unless it is ruled out on the grounds of being french, which I could also understand.

within 10 miles of Wolverhampton , Bank's Mild . Have to have a pint most times I go 'home' just to remember how good it is...
Cobra is normally good
Kronenbourg in the big bottles from France seems to taste better than the 'normal' stuff.
Hoegarden , but not too much of it.
Sam Adams draught is yummy (footnote: does not appear to generate hangover)

Bishops finger and Spitfire are both unbeatable beers from Shepard Neame brewery(oldest in Britain)i think.
Youngs Waggledance is also quite nice, made with honey beleive it or not.
You can find these in most large supermarkets these days along with other speciallity beers, definately worth a look.
For general **** up drinking i would recommend Stella.

Carlsberg is my choice in our local, not one to try different brews, bit of a creature of habbit.......
It may have something to do with a pub called The Hoggshead in Liverpool city centre, they do a massive list of exotic brews, and they have blackboards behind the bar with lists of "guest beers".
So on a night out with the lads we decided to sample a few "guest beers",I cant remember them all but one was called Woberley Bob,another Over And Out,I noticed they wrote the alc/vol by the side of the beer,I should have took more notice.
I was home for 10.30 top night out
Later Yoza.......the shandy drinker

Oh dear, oh dear! Not one mention of Budvar? The Original Czech Budweiser, that is, not the p!ss-weak Yank cr@p! <Shakes head> Nor even Staropramen.
You lot have got it so wrong!
And an honourable mention should go to Tsing Tao - top stuff!! Esp. when drink outside, in the sun, overlooking the bay in Stanley, Hong Kong

I don't think you can go far wrong with an ice cold Budweiser Has to be from a bottle though, the cans just aren't the same
I'm lucky enough to work for a Dutch company so I'll be going over there next month for a big meeting/p*ss up, can't wait Dunno why but foreign beer, as sampled at our last meeting doesn't seem to give you a hangover, what's that all about? A couple of the guys came over here and were drinking Stella all night, no problem for them at home yet our version nearly killed them

A lot of terrible, mass produced beer-flavoured drinks being mentioned here - you lot have obviously never tasted a real beer.
How about Adnams Broadside, Gales HSB and Anniversary Ale, Hook Norton Best Bitter, Thomas Hardy's Ale (2-3 yrs old is best), Gibbs Mew Bishop's Tipple - all great beers with far more flavour than anything you can buy in a can. Canned beer sucks.
