I had silicone hoses, air filter, gearknob off my rs500 replica, I wasn't gonna have anything off it but I went to get my tool kit from it and saw the state it was in.
I crashed the car and when it was towed I was worried about it's wareabouts as it had all genuine rs500 parts, bumper, splitter, rear spoiler etc, the side window was smashed from the crash, the guy told me not to worry as it would be indoors sitting next to an F355.
When i went to get my tool kit from it a couple of days later I was directed to the carpark of a paper factory where it was sitting in the rain, no passenger window and the drivers down, I nearly had a heartattack, it was covered in wet paper as well where the tw*ts from the paper factory had thrown ***** of paper mush at it for the time it was there. The steering wheel(cossie) had been nicked so I thought i'd take all the bits i could, turbo hoses etc, I was going for the water injection but i couldn't get it off as i'd bolted it to the inner wing in the engine bay and I couldn't turn the missing steering wheel to get at the bolts from the wing
I'm surprised it wasn't stripped bare, everything on the car was genuine cosworth and like i say all the rs500 bits too.
I should of had the whole car back but i was so gutted at the state of it i just didn't want it
