OK John, we hear what you're saying and are prepared to brush this under the carpet as you suggest.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had any dealings, suspicious charges from AD INT SYTEMS ltd who are apparently an inbound teleservices operator (!?). Two charges have just appeared on a credit card bill - small amounts BUT, not oens I have done!!

Any help or info would be much appreciated. I ahve notified the Credit card issuer and they are now dealing with it. I have also rung the tel number which has appeared on the bill and first of all it said the number had changed and then when I rang the new one, it was a message machine and is all the time. Dodgy barstewards.

Cheers,

Mossman

Unhappy

My Mastercard number was compromised when I bought something over the net from a non-SSL site (I know now!)

The first amount was for about 3 quid and the second one for about 20 quid.

Credit card company replaced the cards and refunded the charges.

Hello,

The other thing to remember is that the algorythm to generate a creditcard number is and exp date is common knowledge. There are sites to do this on the net. It is quite likley that you number was not ripped off from a transaction, but your card was number was just picked out of the hat by a number generator.

There is probly an american teenage boy that has just had a cracking W**K at your expense!

This doesent make it any less annoying, but at least in the UK we have the consumer credit act which means that the card companies foot the bill.
