Came in from work at 6pm, power-cut. Damn thing lasted til' 10pm, and I missed all of the EUFA Cup Final on tv.
Hell, even though I'm a member of the toon army, I was really chuffed Liverpool won!
Anyone see that programme on BBC1 on Tues night on the history of Liverpool in Europe ?Bloody marvellous.
People talk about the present Man Utd being a good team - well that programme put it in perspective - Liverpool won 4 European Cup finals in close succession. Thats what I call a good team. [Flamesuit:ON]

You missed the best European (or any) final for years
MU's Champion's league win was spectacular but that only had about 5 mintues of really on-edge stuff.
The game last night was magic to watch, real gripping stuff. Defending of crosses at both ends was 'shocking' (to quote Mr Hansen).

We had a power cut to start with, but judicious fiddling in the fuse box sorted it.
Also never saw an action replay of the final goal.
Also hate football, but what a fest!

The Uefa Cup final was magnificant for three reasons.
1. I am an ardent Liverpool fan and have been all my life
2. I was there at the game
3. The game was in Dortmund and i got to drive legally at 135mph 4up on the Autobahn.
Wey - hey......cloud nine can be seen from where I am, I hope to be on it at 5:30 on Saturday afternoon
