He brought many a good chuckle with his brilliant books.

Spend all day at beach on saturday, had wonderful time. Great evening meal. Then turn on news and hear that DA has died. Kinda spoiled the day.

DA was a top man, 'Hitchhikers' is still the best, I've never read the books, but will do so NOW!, but I have the TV programme on tape, and it's simply excellent.

He will be sorley missed.
