Everybody tells me I should stop using FrontPage, but Macromedia costs £500!!

Is there anything around that is better than FP and alot cheaper than Dreamweaver?

I hope to be using mySQL and PHP

windows notepad is free.

and hey thats not a jest. Even excellent packages like dreamweaver can muck up your embedded code. If you do it all by hand then you're laughing.

Why not use FP to produce the design then manually remove all the crap ?

I design sites in dreamweaver then hand code the scripting.

I use my PSION Netbook, and preview using in the OPERA browser. I can't do all things in it, but I can get the core done before I move it to my PC.
