I'm out in the US on business at the moment so we ended up in a sports bar watching the Superbowl on Sunday. The ad men always go for something special during the game because of the coverage and this ad brought the house down.
The other really funny one was for Fed-Ex (which I doubt we'll get in the UK)which was a parody on the Tom Hank's film Castaway. He turns up at a house looking really scruffy with a parcel to deliver. A woman comes to the door, looks at him a bit odd, signs for the parcel and is about to close the door when the guy asks:
"By the way, what was in the parcel?"
The woman opens the package and says:
"Oh, not much.....satellite telephone, GPS receiver, water purification kit, seeds......"(mumbles on while the guy keels over in the background)
Just excellent!
