Fitting a new basin in the lavvy. Not sure if I've got bits missing from the sink waste.
The waste consists of chrome slotted waste, plug/chain and large plastic nut. What do I use to seal between the waste and sink (inside and under?)

Fig,
Works like this...
Chrome slotted thing (slotted because you've got an integrated overflow) sits on a small bed of silicone sealant in the sink plug hole.
When you've put this in, from the underside there should be some sort of rubber thingy that goes between the sink and the bit that you screw in to tighten the chrome bit up with.
Then you fit the waste into this.
The only slightly wierd bit is that it's now standard to use silicone sealant to seal the plug chrome bit in. I wasn't expecting that and thought I was missing a washer or something
Cheers,
Nick.
