I have been advised that 0.5% alcohol in blood is the limit in Finland. What does that mean in UK language, ie breath, mg in ml of blood, etc........

0.5 per thousand is the limit in France, too. They say it equates to 2 glasses of wine or one pint or 1 whisky/vodka etc. for a 75kg male adult.

Its probably that feckin' cold they need a couple of stiff drinks before getting out from under their duvets Apparently they have to plug their cars into electric heaters overnight otherwise they won't start. Shouldn't think metal gear ***** are too popular either

Had a gun poked at me when they thought a drinks bottle in my rucksack was an explosive device had to drink the juice to show it wasn't !

The drink driving limit is 0.5ppm. And there's a "serious" category for those over 1.2ppm. See here:

Its not for driving a car, its for a sno-mobile, apparently the same laws apply. 0.5% in blood!?

Its more for the mornign after, not straight from the pub!

just got back from Finland, was in lapland for a week, got to -27, apparently one year at the same time of year it was -50!
