Can any you guys or gals who own the T100 give me your likes and dislikes with the phone, cos im due for a upgrade and its a toss up with the Nokia 7210 or T100..Cheers

Get the T100 mate..!! its a great phone my bird just bought one..!!! You even get a data cable with it and CD software... I sent my 7210 back after a week, it was an upgrade and i was so dissapointed with the phone... it was no different to the other old nokia phones apart from in colour, however the T100 screen is a million times better than the 7210, its brighter and more detailed... In the end i bought a GD87 which is better than them all..!! but even this doesnt come with a data cable like the T100..

Had the T100 for about 2 months now......
Good.
1.Style
2.Size
3.Screen
4.Ease of use
5.Everyone comments on it,although there are a few around now
Bad.
1.Ringtone volume. It really is quite low and i've missed a couple of calls beacause of this.
I'll be keeping it though.

Had one since July on contract
Good points, Data cable for ringtones/pictures from the PC, Hands free kit. better looking than the other phones IMO. I flash upgraded mine to a T-108 through an app I got on the Net
Bad points, Can't store through or edit the address book through the PC, Text messages wake me up in the night unless I remember to switch the phone off, battery life isn't as good as my old 3330, but they give another one as backup.

I had one and it didnt suit me at all.
Major dislikes: Cannot add new words to the T9 dictionary, how basic is that! So every time you want to use f**k you have to re-key it! As mentioned volume level low, you can turn on vibrate but then it rings before vibrating, cant do both together!
I was disappointed, I have only ever had a non-nokia phone twice and both times was a mistake IMHO the nokia software is far and away the most intuitive and easiest to use.

The ring/vibrate as above is a pain (one then other, cant have vibrate and ring at same time) and also i found that you cant use any of the ringtones for the alarm, you are restricted to the 4 it gives you. I want to wake up to the A Team............
Other than that its a cool phone

The new range of Nokias are probably the biggest advancement ever seen between Nokias. Nokia 6610 for example:
Full 4096 colour display
Polyphonic ringing tones
Tri-band world phone - works in three networks on five continents
Downloadable personal applications via Java™ technology
MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service)
GPRS (General Packet Radio Service)
HSCSD (High-Speed Circuit-Switched Data)
WAP 1.2.1 Browser (via GRPS or CSD)
Integrated FM radio
Handsfree speaker
Customizable and timed profiles

If you have had nokia phones in the past you will be dissapointed by the 7210..! yes they are easy to use but they are boring... the keys are supposed to be ergonomically placed but they are a pain to use...
It is virtually the same as the old nokia's but in colour..

Same old Nokias? Downloadable java apps/games, polyphonic ringtones, 4096 full color display, Multimedia messaging, optional camera plugin.
Can't remember any other nokias having fetures like these??????
And if you don't like the 7210's design(which I have to agree is difficult to use), the 6610 is basically the same phone but with a more classy looking design and keypad configuration.

Agree with a lot of the above points. Currently have 2 t100's for work but have had Nokias for years before this. T100 is great for ringtones/screen ect. but is very slow to write texts and is a lot slower to use than your typical Nokia. Oh and the battery doesn't last the day if you use them a lot.

Those 6610's look absolute ****. Nokia have been way too slow with a lot of recent features e.g. gprs, colour screens, cameras, bluetooth, polyphonic ringtones. Now they are releasing handset after handset to play catch up.
Have u ever thought that Nokia are the most intuitive as most peoples first phonee(s) were Nokia and thats what you are used to? I went from 8210 to Ericcson T68i as Nokia had nothing even remotely close at the time (and this was nearly 10 months ago) and the T68i is just as easy to use and has far more features than my Nokia ever did.
The Samsung T100 is a great phone if you dont want all the top end features like gprs, bluetooth etc. Its stlyish, got a cracking screen, great tones, data cable and spare battery with it, keys are large which makes texting easy. Downside is the poor battery life and dictionary.

Mrs D's got one & she loves it. I beg to differ on the ring volume though, it's the first phone she's had that she's been able to here ringing when buried at the bottom of her handbag The only thing about it that annoys me is it's persistent chiming when she gets a txt, and has left it lying around

All i am going on is personal experience and looking at all the phones in the flesh, and im my honest opinion the nokia colour screen is the most poor i have seen... Is is very dim, it doesnt have much detail and the colours are not bright...
My GD87 has 65,000 colours, has excellent detail and so does the T100...
There is no official cable out yet to change and download wallpaper on the 7210... unlike the T100 which comes with everything... people talk about poor battery life, but hey the T100 comes with 2... you would never get nokia doing that...
You dont have to believe me, but do what i did and look at the phones when running not like some people who look at the plastic copies in the phone shop... put a nokia and a T100 next to each other and you will know which one to pick..!

Yes and its the same as all the other Nokia 8xxx handsets. Tiny buttons that mean u need to be wee man from Jackass to use them and a tiny screen whether its in colour or not. Too much of a sameness for me.

Ive had a few Nokias over the last couple of years and loved them all but as most of the guys said, all they seem to do is change the case and call it 33xx 35xx 72xx 66xx etc etc and how do they warrant charging more money than other makes??the name doesnt give them a right to ripoff the public.
btw seen the screen on the 7210 as i had one for a week(sent back under 14 days policy) and it was VERY disappointing.
