My MY00 is 3 years old in June, I've never had a car that has had its 3rd birthday before so... what happens about the MOT?

Do you get sent a reminder by DVLC? Are you supposed to get one on the day when its three years old? Can you get it sorted the week before and have it dated from the date when its three years old?

You need one after 3 years to the day it was 1st registered.
Yes you can get it done before, but it'll be issued from the date of the test!

You can get It done a month before it is due, just take the Registration Document V5 with you to the test.
