This morning someone posted in the title another persons car details. Also explaining details that could lead to a 12.month ban,By his own admission........... (Idiot)
This post was on the board for a few hours. At no time i would imagine the car owner gave his permission for his details to be posted.
1. moderators,, this should have been moved to the
"Was it you" forum.
2. Do you not feel that the whole thread should have been edited/deleted to protect both of their stupidity...
Not on the ball..........

*sigh* Have you read the safety warnings on just about any product recently? 'Warning: contains nuts' on a packet of peanuts, 'Warning: heavy' on a sodding great widescreen TV, and my favourite: 'Warning: product will be hot after heating' on a microwave dinner. People DO need protecting from themselves - sad but true.
That said, posting someone else's registration no. and an account of what they've done isn't evidence, it's just one person's opinion. Any lawyers or coppers care to elaborate on whether a Scoobynet post about another person would be admissable in court? (Heck, I hope not, for all our sakes...)

I think you have a valid point......
Not only was he implicating the scooby driver in a crime but its now easy to find the lads address via his reg.
I dont know how the mods opperate wheather they read each post to vet it or what, but if they do,editing out reg plates would be something I would like to see done.

Why not take a risk?
You know what they say - "You won't win the raffle if you don't buy a ticket!" - or - "Give someone enough rope and they'll hang themselves"
It will be fun trying - and might be a good day out for everyone?

At what point did you send a "report to moderator" using the link on every thread in scoobynet?
In 2 hours thousands of people would have seen that thread title and nobody mentioned it.
You noticed it and didn't mention it.
The moderators are UNPAID, and cannot watch scoobynet 24 hours a day.
They are paid as much as you are so why didn't YOU do something about it?
regards
Simon

Luke,
Clearly we have a life outside scoobynet, unlike you, the self proclaimed one man ethics committee of scoobynet.
Have you nothing better to do
