Black and White - hit or hype

You must be cem, i've been playing it about 2 weeks now, its undoubtedly a very good game.
However im getting a little bored with my villagers constant moaning, i started fireballing creches the other day cos i was getting well annoyed at flying round like a nutter giving wood to one village, food to another, civic buildings in another, then giving my cow something to eat.
So i thought, sod this and bbq'd a creche.

Cem,
Keep at it, it's good
I have found two 'problems' with it.....
1) Can't get the missus off my PC now (her's isn't up to scratch to run it).
2) I take far too much delight in picking people up and dropping them from great heights or throwing them across the landscape
Still think it boils down to just another god game but it does look and play nice.

I love the game so far...
haven't had much time to play it but it has a feeling of real world about it which is kinda cool.
One question though...
Is there a way you can get you vilages looking after themselves a bit more? As you say.. all this running around with wood, etc is a pain in the bum.
Also.. when you've chopped down all the trees is it a case of casting a forest? or are there other ways of getting more resources?
Cheers chaps

"Deeeeeeeaaaaaatttthhhhhh"
grr..
That is exactly my problem, I am fed up with the bitching of my people. Always wanting more. My creature is a pain in the *** to look after too.
I suppose I'm gonna have to give it more time.
And you may find this

OK I bought it,
it rocks!!
only thing that annoys me, the controls are a bit annoying, and the stuttering as it goes to save the game
I DO like slapping my creature around a bit. Now if I could hack the code a get a picture of my missus in there, the punishment collar would be worn out well quickly

Chaps, if you find your game freezes a lot and does a lot of jerking around, then move all the audio files from the cd to harddrive and this clear all those sort of problems.
If wanted ill post clearer instructions as to what dir you should copy them to etc.

Well I've put it down after three days of playing. It wasnt my cup of tea.
I'm flat out playing Clive Barker's Undying. I've never played a game that sends a shiver up my back until now.

I've trained my tiger to eat dead villagers.
It saves on building a graveyard for them and keeps it fed too.
The only trouble is, is that when there are no dead people around to eat, it will throw a few against rocks and mountains to kill them and then eat them!!
Next i'm going to try and make it, eat it's own poo.
A little tip to create a massive creature quickly. Play skirmish, leash your creature to your temple with the fluffy leash and leave the PC on all night.
