Going to the Ring on Thursday and I was just thinking that it would probably be a good idea to have some basic travel insurance cover. Problem is that most companies I've looked at totally exclude all forms of motorsport (not surprisingly). Are there any that don't?

Why are you telling them it's Motorsport, all you are doing is using a oneway public road!! Your normal insurance will cover you as it would if you were driving down the high street over hear!!! Remember it's not a race track, only a public toll road.

True Shaun - but most of the ones I've looked at are online and contain clauses along the lines of 'if you are doing something that is deemed to be dangerous and you knew about it before you went and didn't tell us, then tough, you're not covered'.

I was just wondering if there was someone who maybe specialised in providing cover for such events.
