Any UK Integra type R owners out there??
I own a UK spec ITR and am trying to find some information on how hard it would be to fit a jap exhuast to my car. I know the jap exhausts are longer/shorter???? than the uk ones. Has anybody successfully fitted one??
Please help me, I'm desperate

I have a white Type R, unmodified. From what I gather, it seems pointless to change exhausts and intakes, something I usually do. The only real benefits( apart from Turbo or supercharging ) is to change cams, timing gear and flywheels etc, ie fairly major mods that will shaft your warranty into the inner recesses of your rectum.

I also want mine reliable, as I have to travel at least 50 miles per day in it.

This info I have gathered from the American sites, where they are all ( of course ) tossers. Like me.

I have toyed with the idea of 16 inch wheels, which however have to be magnesium alloys( weight!! ) and slightly wider tyres, to increase grip.

I don't want to slow the car down( nice to humiliate scooby drivers who aren't on the ball! ).

Have fun!

Cool

Exhaust and Induction has to done, the noise is amazing. It will blow you away. You will get a performance increase, if you go for a Jap Exhaust, like a Mugen, Spoon, 5Zigen, only thing expect to pay £500 ++++.

I own a CTR with the above, it has improved power, throughout VTEC zone. I have not had it on the rolling road, but my lap times have come down significantly, since the minor mods have been done.

I know a guy whoi has an Jap ITR with Exhaust, Filter, Spoon ECU, and it is fappin quick, rolling road @230BHP !!!! from a 1.8 N/A !!!!

Don't turbo or supercharge, its not needed.

Type R, that's impressive. Maybe I shall after all talk to TDI about exhausts. Do you have a manifold as well, or a cat back exhaust?

Did it make it hugely more noisy?

Cheers!
