Can you let me know where you got your Breitling from in Singapore? Best price I've got so far is around £800 compared to £1100 in the UK.

I seem to remember you got yours for £5 to 600 odd.

He said he was back at main base, rather than on-site, so that he would be posting a lot less. Best option is probably to e-mail him.

I can't find the receipt (I must have returned it to my sister). I will email her (she actually bought it in Singapore). She is in Oz so she may not reply until next week.

just don't forget that WHENEVER (and forever) you re-enter the UK, if C&E decide to check, it is up to YOU to prove that you paid the appropriate duty on your watch.

Mite be worth paying duty (and getting a receipt for) the cheapo watch the first time you come back.

If you're wearing the watch and you have been all holday it won't look brand new.

If you have a sealed box in your luggage and they check ....

 

I was thinking of wearing the watch and posting the instructions/box back to myself!!

Wear the watch, post the box back to the UK, and keep the instructions with you. Ensure that the warranty stuff is intact as you will need it if you want to take up the international warranty.
