After the purchase of a new Kenwood in car MP3 head unit - see ICE forum - I want to convert a few selected tapes and LP's into MP3 via my Line In Port.
Adaptec (Roxio) Easy CD Creator 4 Deluxe comes with a proggy called CD Spin Doctor which is EXACTLY what I want but I can only get it to encode a Max of 52KBps not the 128kbps I desire - so:-
1) Am I being thick or does CD Spin only encode a max 52kbps??
2) Does anyone know of a better prog for doing this - the good thing about CD Spin is that it will make seperate MP3's for each song - it listens for the gaps, and also removes obvious crackles and hiss automatically. So Ideally I want this functionality.
Cheers
