Not sure what that model is like you're looking at but i have to say some of the loewe tv's have great resolution.

Much better than my current philips cool green.

Though depending on the condition above you might want to look at the current range of rear projectors as they are VERY good.

anyone found a website for loewe ?

Question

Good morning all!

I am just about to purchase a home cinema system and have pretty much sorted everything out bar the TV.

Does anyone on here have a Loewe? Good points? Bad points? The other contender is a Panasonic 32" Tau (Nicam only). The Loewe is the 32" Xelos model. The dealer has been having a load of problems with Sony and Panasonic but has NEVER had any with a Loewe. Is the build quality that much better?

As per usual, many thanks for any opinions!

Cheers,

Mossman

Talking

Ive got the one with the sub-woofer base stand and the Nicam surround add-on box, and may i say, it's mustard! The sound reproduction is like nothing you have heard before, and the picture quality is superb! We have not had any problems with it yet, and i think weve had it for about 2 years now (but then again, our previous TV was around for about 10 yrs).
I would recommend one to anyone

I bought a "Studio" series about 8-9 years ago. Big speakers in base unit.It was great until friend moved one of my big speakers up against it for 3.months.Half of picture went funny colour...So did friend when I found out!! Me thinks they are imported by "LINN" now that should say some think. Prices in france are very much cheaper...

Be Lucky

P.S Thank god your not buying B & O .....cos it is all crap

Hi Mossman,
Not seen the Xelos but I have A 32" Loewe Aconda, only had it for 8 weeks with no probs so far.
The build and picture quality of Loewe TV's is superb you will not be dissapointed. The standard sound on the Aconda is only average you might find the Xelos is the same, not a problem if your running an external amp set-up.
