Just in the planning stages of stag and hen do's for me and the missus. Boys are doing Prague 3 nights, women are off to Madrid, 2 nights.

So anyone know any nice cheap hotels (up to £40 a night pp ish), or any good websites for checking hotels in Prague and Madrid for July and May respectively?

My details are on the 5ive-o forum.

Just came back from a weekend in Prague. Top Place

The hotel I stayed at was awesome and is highly recommend. Only cost £30pp with 3 people sharing. It’s located in the Old Town near Charles Bridge. Best thing was that only 5 metres away from the hotel was this bar that did pints for 30p each

If you want I will dig out the details.

I'm trying to think of the hotel I stayed at - Ambassador I think, straight up from Old town square, past the Intercontinental.. £40ish per night..

Funk hotel 'cos it was still stuck in the 1970's with brown and yellow colour scheme. Also still had marks on the walls where they had filled in the holes where the KGB bugs where ..

DW,

Get yourselves down to 'u Fleku'; they know how to party in there. The guy who owns it was at school with my dad, so I'm slightly biased. Dark beer is to die for though

Hotels I've stayed in have been around the £70/night mark, so of no use. And they say the Scots are tight

Roadrunner,

Please could you find the details of the Prague hotel and post them? Was it an internet booking? Want to take my girlie for a romantic weekend, would guess that the hotel is suitable. (esp. as it's near Charles Bridge).

Cheers,
Rav

Roadrunner - please post the details up.

Ozzy - have a range of budgets to cater for, not forgetting the £5k honeymoon to book next week

Cheers all

D W,
I'm in at the City Hotel Meran, which seems alright for a lads trip, stayed at the 5* Radisson with the missus, again booked through airmiles, nice hotel.

It’s William Garni Hotel. See if you can get the top follow. The room we stayed in (502) was amazing

DW,

The www.hotelsczech.com is very good. That's where I booked my stay in Prague last summer.
