Question

I have just purchased a second hand PC from one of the reconditioning places. However, whilst I new that there would not be an operating system I assumed that I would get drivers for the sound and graphics cards. As these are not present and Win 98 does not find an appropriate driver is there any way I can tell what cards are present without taking the PC apart?

Not really. Take the cover off (go on be a man) you'll probably just get covered in dust. For each card that doesn't have a driver just look for a model name (should be a sticker or etching on the surface).

If not look for the FCC ID number, then go here and lookup the manufacturer
