I'd want to see it used by more than that though.....

did u enjoy ? i think it was too short notice cos the download is over 80 meg if people have never had cs b4 ?

still hopefully more next week - i had 2 people comng 2nite and neither turned up the useless buggers so i will be having words tomorrow at work !!!

Sorry I missed your games guys.
Attempted to log onto the server...but got rejected because of client dll stuff.
Then realised I needed the 7.1 to v1 patch....1hr later and everyones gone
I'll be ready for next week though

Oh I so wanted to join you last night....I looked at the download but 82.3 Megs put me right off.

So thought AHAA January issue of PC Format had a big article on Counter Strike, so dug it out, sure enough Article said the lastest v1.0 is on the covermount DVD - after an hour of searching on their DVD I was ready to throw it up the wall - PC Format ****y, tossers!!

So I grouched around at home all night with my missus wondering why I was like a bear with a sore head.

Oh I so nearly fired off a right arsey email to PC Format but thought better of it.

Anybody know of a current mag with Counter Strike on the CD??

And don't anybody say PC Format - I remember why I never buy it anymore - I only had January's because Wifey bought it for a birthday surprise!

pc zone cd issue 96 Dec 2000 has got counter strike 7.1 on it.

the download to get to V 1.0 is then around 20meg ?

i dont think V 1.0 has got onto a cd that i've got yet ?

I play CS under the 'highly original' name of Scooby. Can any of you IT gurus tell me how to configure Norton Internet Security 2001 for CS ? I had no problems using Zone Alarm, however now I've moved to NIS 2001, I can't see any servers !
