I've had reason to call telewest on a few occasions.

Most times it's been something to do with either my TV or billing or my account and they have proved themselves to be worse than useless.

On the 3 occasions i've called them regarding their broadband they've been great. Very helpful and clued up on how everything works. They even gave me help with an 'unsupported' OS on my own network. Best bit is they didn't treat me as a muppet and ask me to recheck everything i'd already checked before i called them. They just took my word for it.

I consider it a worthy trade off as i get more from the broadband than i get from the TV.

Im currently enjoying 6 mnonths *free* broadband, TV & Phone from Telewest, oh and a full proffessional carplet clean throughout


all down to their incompetency, I had to write to the cheif exec tho, after they drilled through my central heating pipe, flooding a room, and leaving it whilst they carried on the install !!!

Just be careful in the summer when digging your garden then

They laid the green conduit to my house 1/2" under the border.

Oh, and we had no phone for a whole day, turned out an engineer had disconnected us outside by mistake, for compensation they refunded my something like £2.50

My phone went dead this afternoon, I rang them up (on my neighbours)and they have told me they can't send an engineer around until thursday next week. The laugh is that I still have their broadband service and can download at 60mbps. Crazy or what ?.
