I have two 13 week old kittens and I am sure they would love to help out if I lived a little closer to you. I bought them a couple of toy mice and they go absolutely mad when they play with them. They hold them with their front paws while biting their necks and kicking them with their back paws. Even at this age I am pretty sure they would make short work of a mouse.
They do get very annoying when they try to get into bed with you at 2 in the morning though....

When copying the URL make sure that you remove the space in the middle of the word location.
I tried to get the URL to work on the thread - but it wouldn't allow it for some reason (too long I guess).
Copying it and pasting works though.
Hope this helps

Get down to B&Q and buy a number of poison boxes, they look like large matchboxes and contain pellets. Just put them about up the loft and hey presto....with minimal costs. They die of dehydration and so no rotting either so no worries on that front. Better than traps than need to be emptied.

gregh,
Get yourself a few little nipper and only these mousetraps, had the same prob last year, bait them with margarine as they love it and have to sit there licking it off instead of doing a runner with a lump of chocolate etc,set them realy sensitive and you'll have your first victim in an hour, its good fun lying in bed ,crack, squeek just another 30 to catch now.
Good look

If you want some cheep poison they had some in boots the other day in the January Sale section, just between the shaving gift sets and the mosturising cream. It was half price and the banner hanging from the ceiling said it was a 'January Bargin' - Bizzare!!!

The mouse in my loft I killed within 24 hours - it's the rats in the back garden that are proving more troublesome!!
Killed one with my air rifle a few weeks ago, the other one appears now and then, staked out in the back garden in the shrubbery for two hours last Sunday, until it was dark!!
Took one shot at it when it popped its head out of the drain, but I think it lives still (for the time being.....)

Talking of dead mice has anyone seen the opening scene in the film "Hollow Man". A mouse scurries around and then gets grabbed by an invisible gorilla which squeezes it before eatng it...
nice special effects (unless you like mice)
