Simply are pretty well established, shouldn't be any reason to worry.

What about a wireless mouse and / or keyboard? Logitech do some wireless ones (which are better than Infra-red models).

I have just bought a Ricoh combi CD writer / dvd player and my pc has a TV out from the Graphics card (I know you top end guys will be cringing) but for the time being that will be my DVD player (until DVD-R is available) can I get some sort of remote control to control my pc ?? (USB?)

Seriously - if you have an IR port on your PC you can probably use a remote unit with it.

I assume that Ricoh don't have anything like that for their DVD drive?
