I've got quite a few games such as ssx , iss, RR , and Tekken.
I also have however time splitters and silent scope. I think both of the above games are crap and have onlyn played them once. I think i have a swap for silent scope but if anyone would like to swap for time splitters email me... it's a quake 3 deathmatch sort of thing.
I doubt you will but the offer is there

Fosters,
Just out of interest , is nhl any good? Can't wait for Jonah Lomu rugby, Granturismo and Metal gear solid to come out.
Is there going to be a new colin mcrae rally? or is it going to be called Richard Burns ?

Hos, I had NHL originally but took it back. I bought it thinkng it would be as good as the old NHL on the Sega Megadrive...but was wrong.
EA as ever make crappy games with 'official licences' which the 'masses' just love to buy. NHL is an example of this, all the official players, nice eye candy but crap playability - and it slows down too!
Put it this way if you like the ****ty FIFA 2001 games, you'll like NHL.
Give me ISS over FIFA anyday.
Did you know: ISS (PSX2) was rushed out by the Konami Nintendo team (KCEO) for release. The proper team (KCET) who wrote ISS Pro Evo on the PS1 are busy writing the PS2 version of the game now for release in March (Jap)

I reckon we can write off the Playstation 2 til about late March / April when we'll see proper stuff coming out for it, instead of rushed rubbish.
Sony must be panicking, as the X-Box has just been officially unveiled and set for release in Autumn. Its 3x faster than PSX2 and much, much, much easier to program. Shame you won't see GT3 on it though. (unless someone does an emulator!)
Ooh, thats a thought - back when GT1 was released I bet nobody thought they'd be seeing something that good being emulated on the next-gen hardware. Well I suppose the same will happen with GT3!

Isn't the X Box delayed untill next year?
Also when everyone is talking about how Microsfots dominates the PC market the omit top mention that Microsoft dont make any hardware at all apart from a few mice, keyboards and joysticks? I would be interested to know who is actully makig the bits!
I have a copy of Teken Tag that I will swap for Something like Timesplitter or Silent Scope (Event if they are a bit dodgy according to some!)

A bit off topic (but what's new) has anyone else played EAs F1 game on the PS2? Had it hired out on Saturday evening, returned it on Sunday morning. The graphics were good, the sound very good, the first F1 game I have played where the brakes work like they appear to do on the TV. The steering was an absolute joke, a block of wood on a roller skate would go round a corner with more precision

Had my first experience of a PS2 on Friday and the result??? disapointed to say the least!!
A friend of mine bought one from Blockbuster video on Friday as we were bored and he hired the following games :
1) Timesplitters - Played it for 5 minutes before switching it off. Nowhere near as good as Quake/Half Life etc on the PC.
2) Track and Field - Quite a good laugh, excellent graphics but playability wise no great advance from Track and Field, Daley Thompsons Decathlon etc.
3) Teken Tag Team - If you have played any version of Teken on the Playstation then you know exactly what to expect.
This machine is crying out for some decent games.

Gran Turismo - the X-Box is released this autumn in US.
Its delayed in Europe, but I always buy the import/foreign version of the console as its faster.
It will trounce the PS2 in performance (x3) but it doesn't matter to me as I buy a console for the quality of the games - thats why I'll take my Dreamcast over my PS2 anyday.

Naff, got to agree with you about ISS Pro Evo, but strangely me or my mates can't go back to the PS1 version as it seems so slow and chunky now, despite it being the better game.
On another note, the latest build of GT3 on PSX2 confirms there 3 separate settings for the degree of throttle you can apply - light presss, medium press and a hard press on the throttle button - weird!
