Just been to see Nemesis Great film IMO and a lot like a modern day Wrath of Kahn...i.e....two captains, a goody and a baddy, two ships that both wind up pretty well crippled and a seriously dangerous weapon. Very enjoyable
Now for my disclaimer: I don't own Star Trek clothes or speak more than one or two words of Klingon. I don't religously watch the series or attend conventions, but I used to watch them all as I had my tea when they were on daily at 5 on Sky 1. Despite this I did pick up on a hoooooooooooooge mistake in Nemesis! Picard said to his clone nemesis something along the lines of...'we have the same eyes, heart, hands, skin, soul'
This seems to completely fly in the face of the fact that a Nausican (sp?) thrust a 14 inch blade through Picards heart over a game of Damjack and that Picard now has an artifical heart
What other mistakes did you geeks spot

I don't mind a bit of Star Trek myself.
Original Series - Not bad.
Next Gen - Love it.
DS9 - Crap.
Voyager - Quite like it. 7 of 9 nuff said.
Enterprise - Just getting into this.
Like Saxo, i tend to catch it when i'm eating my tea. I'm no Trekkie desperado.
Live long and prosper fellow Scoobynetters.

Saw this film last night - superb in my opinion. Scene of the Enterprise backing away from the Scimitar was SO Wrath of Khan.
Geek time - the Enterprise was firing both Photon and Quantum torpedoes (you could tell by the colour of them!!!)
DP.

I see four lights!!!
Ever since their introduction on the Defiant and in particular Voyager quantum torpedos have been fairly widly used and were used by the Enterprise-E against the borg. You'll notice that they used the photon's first and more often but they saved the quantums for when the simitars cloak was down and they could actually see what they were shooting at ! On that note I can think of another mistake IMO! They were fighting in a nebula type thing so even when cloaked the simitar would have displaced gases and left a trail to follow
Anybody notice vash at the wedding.....hubba...hubba
DS9 started off as the crappest of all the series but by the end was the best IMO. It was jam packed with action and the turning point was when the jem hadar rammed the galaxy class starship (forget its name) The first time you saw the defiant in action was pant wetting stuff and then there was the ultimate defiant fight where it was the parallel universe defiant running rings around a Klingon battle cruiser that was about 50 times its size
Uh-oh....its all coming back
Astra.........THERE ARE FIVE LIGHTS!!!!!!!!

Whatever you do, don't say any more on it, I am dying to see it!!!
No one wants to go with me though. They all think I am sad!!! Well, I may be sad, but I still want to see it.
Star Trek forum - now that IS a thought, maybe a Sci-Fi/Fantasy forum!!!! Anyone else up for petitioning for one?

I'll second that LMWRX will love it.
The Galaxy-class ship destroyed by the Jem Hadar was the USS Odyssey.
No I bloody didn't (!) - she is a babe.
However, Troy is bedtime gear was somewhat rather fetching.......... (Riker - you lucky, lucky b4stard!haha)
One thing that wasn't explained was where 'B4' came from. One slight overlook from my point of view. The film itself is very much one dimensional, given the previous films which have had a number of plots carrying on at the same time. Nemesis was very much Picard vs. Shinzon.
(Time to go and lie in a dark corner for a while me thinks)

Another vote for Jadzia Dax from me!!
And on the DS9 subject, anybody remember Leeta the dabo girl? Nice assets!
Actually, S.T. has had some pretty gorgeous women in side roles - Teri Hatcher, Ashley Judd and Famke Janssen come to mind...
DP.
