you have my sympathies - I spent all yesterday afternoon and evening lugging sandbags and bailing water. just managed to keep it out of the house. big thank you to the fire brigade who turned up to help. our local councillor (Slough) turned up to offer his sympathy but said nothing could be done as all the council staff were on holiday. he seemed upset when I called him a di##head! fortunately he cant sue me for libel/slander or whatever as he really is a di##head and knows it!!!
