Alright matey?

I got the TV at the weekend, been setting it up, and its good. Well impressed.
Cant sit too close tho as it looks pants!
Why is it that all big tellys look ****e from upto about 5' then look superb!?
Not set up the rear speakers yet the mrs still aint 100% happy about the size, so Im not pushing my luck!

anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for the help you provided when I was looking

Robski, glad you are happy
Big tellys have the same resolution as small tellys, hence they dont look great from a short distance. (A few companies are working on a technology that guesees how each pixel should be made up and makes up more little ones based on this guess) Sitting too close is bad for your eyes anyway
Just set up the rear speakers, buy a DVD player and off you go (probably kicked out the mrs )

Already got the DVD, and shes happy with it!
(miracles Do happen, hehehe)
The one complaint I had was that the manual for the telly was pants. Showed all the settings, didnt explain what they did. Thats really useful then, not!!
